Women are different

I guess I'm not the first man to discover this! What I mean is that personal finance, retirement and planning are issues that affect both men and women. But so much is focused on the man as the decision maker and the breadwinner without an equivalent focus on women.

But women are different for other important reasons (a myriad, actually, but I'll stick to the focus of this blog): women generally live longer than men and will likely have a longer period in retirement; women earn less than men and will need more resources for their longer retirement; women must work harder to gain the tools to finance their longer retirement because such information is more often male-focused.
