HSAs and FSAs and the end of the year

It's important to know the difference between a Health Savings Account (HSA) and a Flexible Savings Account (FSA). Your HSA balance can extend to future years. But typically FSAs must be spent in the current year. If you have the latter, this is a good time to spend down the balance. How? When did you last get eyeglasses? Need a dental check up?
