Gads! You may have heard someone say that if you had long hair and dressed in torn jeans like I did in my youth. Many of today's seniors may have been similarly disposed and likewise admonished because they were the "flower children" that we recognize.
So, what about getting a job? Many retirees try to re-enter the workforce for various reasons beyond money: the desire to be productive, to interact with others, to learn something new, etc. But barriers may arise due to age discrimination in its various forms. What to do? The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has answers: Employment Options
