It's no secret that there's a new dynamic within many households around the country. It's now not so unusual to have a college-educated twenty-something sharing quarters with mom and dad as the only means to support an acceptable lifestyle for the boarder. Is this okay?
A large percentage of the world enjoy the benefits of extended family living situations -- there's someone around to look after grandma, there are built-in babysitters for the kids and there are economies of scale by having a fuller house.
But the situation in the U.S. is different. More often the added family member is single, underemployed and incapable of moving out without a degree of pain.
